Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that long talks between the government and Tehreek-e-Lubaik Pakistan (TLP) have been successful.
Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed released a video statement on Tuesday morning in which he announced the success of talks between the government and the TLP.
He said that the government would present the resolution of deportation of French Ambassador in the National Assembly today while sit-ins will be ended by TLP from all over the country including at the Masjid Rehmatul Lil Aalameen.
According to Sheikh Rashid, the matter will be taken forward through talks and those against whom cases are registered, including the Fourth Schedule, will also be withdrawn.
He further said that he would give a detailed statement on this through a press conference later today.
