LAHORE: Newly appointed Governor of Punjab Rafique Rajwana has come up surprising decision as he announced that he will not take his salary as the governor of the province.
The new Governor also announced that his family will not stay in the governor house situated in Lahore.
He might be following the previous governor footsteps as Chaudhry Sarwar used to live in private house.
Rafique Rajwana announced his decision on Monday on first visit to Governor House where the staff of the house briefed him.
The governor had taken oath on Sunday (yesterday) in a prestigious ceremony in Lahore.
Earlier, after more than three months departure of former governor Chaudhry Sarwar existing government has appointed the PML-N leader Rajwana as governor.
