LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Friday that the government was determined to provide people electricity on cheaper rates and said that the solar power projects were the most cheapest projects.
Shahbaz Sharif said that solar power projects did not create any burden on import bill and added that there were many substitute power resources in Pakistan. He continued that there were many places where wind power projects could be installed in KP and Kashmir.
He said that they can generate electricity by oil, coal and gas. The CM said that they had launched 250 MW wind power projects in Jam Pir.
