ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to provide additional power to Karachi this summer.
The federal government has given good news to the citizens of Karachi and has decided to provide extra electricity to the residents of the port city the summer.
Federal Minister for Energy Omar Ayub has said that 450 MW additional power will be provided to Karachi from the national grid during the coming summer.
He said that work on upgrading of double circuit transmission line from Jamshoro to Karachi for power supply has been completed and the transmission line will be fully ready to carry electricity by March 31.
