Afghanistan better to fix own domestic issues instead of lecturing Pakistan

GENEVA: The World Bank’s board has supported the release of more than $200 million in aid to Afghanistan from the frozen trust fund.

According to the foreign news agency, to deal with the crisis in Afghanistan, the World Bank has supported the release of the said amount by  two aid agencies. The two aid agencies included the United Nations’ World Food Program and Unicef.

The release of this money required an approval from the World Bank’s Afghanistan Reconstruction Trust Board (ARTF).

It may be mentioned here that the over 300 million people of Afghanistan are facing economic issues, lack of food in the winter and increasing poverty.
