Gold became expensive in the global market after US President Donald Trump threatened to impose new tariffs.
In the international market, the price of gold has crossed $2,911 per ounce i.e. Rs812,000.
Apart from this, the price of gold in Karachi increased by Rs4,000 to Rs303,000 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of gold in the country increased by Rs3,429 to Rs259,773.
According to analysts, investors have set their eyes on gold in view of the trade war and inflation fears.
