Global warming: Sea level may rise by 10 feet in next 50 years

Scientist revealed that sea level might rise by 10 feet as ice sheets were melting 10 times faster. They threatened that circulation of heat around oceans could collapse entirely.

Climate expert Doctor James Hansen said that this situation would lead to powerful storms.

Doctor James along with 16 other scientists said that an increase in average global temperature of just 1°C could result in dramatic changes in sea level and an increase in powerful storms.

The scientists said that social disruption and economic consequences of such large sea level rise could be devastating.
