All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani and other Hurriyat leaders have paid tributes to five Kashmiri youth martyred by Indian troops in Budgam and Sopore areas, Indian Held Kashmir on Thursday.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar paying homage to the martyrs said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri people would not go waste, KMS reported.

Criticizing the silence of the world community, he said that their insensitivity and unconcern was the sole reason for the unabated bloodshed. He said, “The world forums, who stand witness to the Kashmir dispute, act as mute spectators, thereby legitimizing and legalizing the brutalities unleashed in this region for the last 70 years.

Had these forums acted to their tall claims, India could not have dared to continue its repression and peace would have been ensured since long.”

The APHC Chairman said arrogance, haughtiness and persistent denial can’t hold water for long and India has to come to terms with the writing on the wall, lest this unresolved and unaddressed volcano can erupt and burst anytime – engulfing millions of people in this region.
