PARIS: Old rivals Germany and Poland battled to a stalemate on Thursday as both countries edged towards sealing their place in the last 16 of Euro 2016 with a 0-0 draw.
The stalemate leaves Germany top of Group C on goal difference with both sides on four points from two matches and gives hope to Northern Ireland, who are only a point behind after beating Ukraine 2-0 earlier.
