General Elections 2018: Who will govern Pakistan?

An eventful day if voting came to an end at 6 PM, now masses are waiting for the results of General Elections 2018.

Polling began at 8AM across the country’s 85,307 polling stations and continued until 6PM despite calls by several major parties, including PML-N, PPP and PTI, to extend the polling time by an hour.

As many as 12,570 candidates contested for a total of 849 seats of national and provincial assemblies in the country’s 11th General Election.

Unofficial and unconfirmed results from different constituencies started pouring as the clock struck 07:00 PM, an hour after the polling process came to an end across the country.

At this stage according to Unofficial and unconfirmed results Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are leading in 94 constituencies of the National Assembly followed by Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) 54 and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) stand third with 32.
