Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Tuesday signed death warrants of four terrorists who were guilty in different terror cases, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

COAS signed four death warrants of terrorists including Noor Saeed, Murad Khan, Inayatullah and Israruddin who were pronounced to death by military courts.

The terrorists found guilty in different terror cases of bomb blasts, killings of innocent citizens and abduction for ransom.

Earlier on December 2, four terrorists involved in the Army Public School (APS) attack last year had been hanged at a civil jail in Kohat on Wednesday while the hangings were the first executions of civilians convicted by Pakistan’s military courts.

COAS had signed the black warrants of Maulvi Abdus Salam, Hazrat Ali, Mujeebur Rehman and Sabeel alias Yahya on November 30, 2015 while the executions come as the country prepares to observe the first anniversary of the attack on Dec 16 after rejection of mercy appeals by the President Mamnoon Hussain.
