RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Raheel Sharif chaired a farewell Corps Commanders Conference here at the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Monday.
According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) statememnt, the conference was attended by COAS-designate Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, Corps Commanders and Principal Staff Officers.
During the meeting, the Corps Commanders paid rich tributes to Gen Raheel Sharif for his leadership and professional acumen and lauded his services for the country.
General Raheel congratulated the Chief of Army Staff-designate for his elevation to the rank of General and appointment as COAS.
Meanwhile, the formal Change of Command Ceremony will take place on 29th November (Tuesday).
