ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has reserved judgment in the COAS Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa’s tenure case here on Thursday.

Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa led a three-member bench comprising Justice Mian Mazhar Alam Khan Miankhel and Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah.

As the hearing went underway, the court asked the attorney general to submit the extension notification issued by the previous PPP-led government for former Army Chief Gen Ashfaq Pervez Kayani and the retirement notification of ex-COAS Gen Raheel Sharif.

The AG told the bench that the said notifications were not available in the court. To which, the court gave 15-minute time to the AG to bring the notifications.

Later, the court reserved its verdict, observing that it will announce the short order in the afternoon.
