ISLAMABAD: Gas crisis will get worse in December and January in the country, an official says.
Speaking to a local TV, Sui Southern Gas Company Managing Director Aamir Tufail said that the gas crisis would get worse in December and January in the country as the gap between the natural resource’s demand and supply was widening.
He expressed his concern over the constant depletion of gas reserves. Supply to the commercial sector will be shut if the shortfall widens, however, the supply to the domestic consumers will not affect.
The SSGC official said that the company would try to carry out minimum loadshedding during the peak hours.
