KARACHI: Rangers and police conducted a joint operation in Rangi Wara area of Lyari on Thursday night during which gang war accused hiding in the area opened fire on the raiding party. Rangers and police returned the fire as a result one gang war accused was killed.
Police sources said that the killed accused was member of Uzair Baloch group. Police have also recovered hand grenade and other ammunition.
Separately, police apprehended a gang war accused in injured condition after an encounter in Baghdadi area of Lyari. Police sources said that the arrested accused named Bhawan was member of Baba Ladla group. Police have also recovered arms from his possession.
