KARACHI: The funeral prayers of late Sindh Governor, Justice (Retd) Saeed-uz-Zaman Siddiqui has been offered today (Friday) after Juma prayers at Governor house.
The funeral prayer was led by prominent scholar Mufti Taqi Usmani. He will be laid to rest in DHA graveyard after state funeral.
Earlier, the body of the late Governor shifted to the Governor House from morgue by Pakistan Navy contingent.
Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, his cabinet members, parliamentarians, military officials and people from every walk of life attend the funerals.
The retired chief justice of Pakistan, Saeed -uz-Zaman Siddiqui had taken oath as the 31st Governor of Sindh on November 11, 2016.
