WASHINGTON: As Apple eyeing to launch its flagship smartphone Apple iPhone 6S and now the device’s front panel leaked ahead of it official debut.
Apple gained the great success with its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and now eyeing to launch its flagship smartphone.
Consequently following surprising size and exciting feature leaks, we now have shots courtesy of Nowhereelse.fr which show the iPhone 6S front panel coming off the production line.
With Apple expected to maintain its annual September release schedule this timing makes sense as the company aims to build up stock, but it also confirms something less exciting: the iPhone 6S looks set to keep up the tradition of the S range and make virtually no external alterations to its predecessor.
This includes the display size (4.7-inches), native resolution (1334 x 750 pixels) and Touch ID-equipped home button, though a more rigid aluminium alloy should kill off any new bendgate talk.
Some wild speculation had claimed Apple will move to Touch ID to the back of the iPhone or even inside the screen to reduce bezel size. This sounds great in theory, but these pictures stamp on that and I’d say it’s highly unlikely we see anything similar before the iPhone 7 – at the earliest.
iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus performance is expected to have major changes as it would jump courtesy of a new Apple A8X chipset, RAM will be doubled to 2GB, the camera resolution is expected to increase to 12MP after 4 generations at 8MP and 4K video recording will be thrown in for good measure.
Apple has also promised that efficiencies in iOS 9 (which will launch with the new iPhones) will add another hour of battery life to the iPhone 6, so any battery capacity bump given to the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus should bring joy there too.
