‘Free, fair elections held in GB’

Islamabad: The chief election commissioner, Gilgit Baltistan, Raja Shahbaz Khan has claimed that a free and fair elections were held in the region.

Speaking to the media, he said that the people had cast votes on their own choice.

The chief election commissioner said that the heads of some parties wanted to create a confusion. I appeal to them to consult the election commission rather than making statements, he added.

He thanked the people of the region and said that the polling was held peacefully.

Raja Shahbaz said that the results would take a little time to be announced as some of constituencies received snowfall and rain.
