Fourth ODI between New Zealand, Sri Lanka washed out

NELSON: The fourth One Day International (ODI) between New Zealand and Sri Lanka in Nelson abandon due to rain on Saturday.

Rain had delayed the start of the fourth ODI between both teams as it was reduced to 24 overs. The match was called off after rain interrupted the game once again when hosts were put into bat by Sri Lanka.

At the end of 9th over, New Zealand made 75 on loss of three wickets.

New Zealand take an untenable lead in the five-match series 2-1 after fourth game washed out.

The fifth and final match is in Mount Maunganui on Tuesday.
