JEDDAH: At least four people were injured in a bomb blast occurred in a ceremony commemorating the end of Word War 1 here on Wednesday.
Reports said that the improvised explosive device was used in the blast targeting an annual ceremony marking the end of World War 1 at a non-Muslim cemetery here. As a result, four people including a Greek national were injured.
Consulate officials of several European countries including France were attending the ceremony.
France has strongly condemned the Jeddah blast. 102nd anniversary of the end of World War 1 is being marked today.
