CHARSADDA: At least four children died and another was seriously injured when dilapidated wall of a house collapsed.
Police said that wall of a house in poor condition situated in Utmanzai area of Charsadda suddenly came down. Five children present near the scene were buried under the rubble.
Three children died on the spot in the incident and two others were seriously wounded and shifted to hospital where another injured child breathed his last taking death toll to four.
Condition of the other injured child was also stated to be serious.
Four seriously injured as car falls into gorge in Mansehra
In another incident at least four people were critically injured when a car plunged into a gorge here on Monday.
Police said that an over speeding private car skidded off road and it fell into a ravine by roadside in Chitta Batta area of Mansehra.
Four people were injured in the accident who were pulled out from the gorge by police and local people through joint efforts and shifted to King Abdullah Hospital Mansehra, where their condition was stated to be critical.
