KARACHI: Officials of a law enforcement agency apprehended ex-senator Faisal Raza Abidi during a late night raid at his residence in Karachi on Friday, local media reported.
Abidi was arrested from his residence in New Rizvia Society, within the remits of Sachchal police station, according to sources. The raid was conducted by personnel of a law enforcement agency late on Friday night, who also searched Abidi’s house for half an hour, before moving him to an undisclosed location.
However, none of the law enforcement agencies (LEAs) has revealed the arrest of former senator.
The reason behind the arrest has yet to be revealed, however, sources informed that the former senator would be quizzed pertaining to some high-profile cases.
