Former Saudi Foreign Minister Saud Al-Faisal passes away

RIYADH: Former Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal has passed away.

Prince Saud, who was appointed in 1975, was the world’s longest serving foreign minister when he was replaced on April 29 by Adel al-Jubeir. He worked as Saudi Foreign Minister for forty years. He was the son of King Shah Faisal. His age was 75 years. He was born on January 2nd, 1940 and died on July 9th 2015.
