For the first time: Iran sees below 100 daily virus deaths in a month

TEHRAN: Iran on Tuesday saw the lowest number of coronavirus deaths for the first time in a month, an official said. 

Kianoush Jahanpour, the spokesperson for the Iranian health ministry said that 98 people were died from coronavirus today across the country.

He added that for the first time in a month the number of daily deaths dropped to double figures.

In a televised news conference, the spokesperson hoped that the downward trwnd would continue in the country.

Over 45,00 people have so far died from coronavirus in Iran.
