LAHORE: Pakistan has taken strict security measures to provide foolproof security to Zimbabwe cricket team during its tour.
3000 police personnel and 100 Elite force’s vehicle will be deployed along the route from the hotel and stadium. Police would hold aerial surveillance of the hotel, where Zimbabwe team live, airport and the stadium.
People have to go through six security layers to enter in the stadium. Snipers will be deployed on different places in the stadium during the matches. No cricketer will be allowed to leave the hotel alone and their movement will be monitored.
DIG operations will monitor security arrangements himself, while SSPs will remain in the field during the matches.
