FO receive 1754 complaints from Overseas Pakistanis during 2015

ISLAMABAD: Grievance Commissioner, Federal Ombudsman (FO) has received 1754 complaints from the Overseas Pakistanis on different issues during the year 2015.

The Grievance Commissioner has resolved 1609 complaints out of total 1754 while rest of the complaints are under process, said an official of Policy Planning Unit (PPU), Ministry of Overseas and Human Resource Department.

Talking to APP, the official said 695 complaints were received from overseas website related to NADRA, passports and property issues out of which 550 has been resolved.

While 359 complaints related to the above mentioned issues, received directly in Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat, have also been resolved.

A total of 261 complaints related to federal ministries and departments, received through Punjab Overseas Commissioner all of which have been resolved, the official said.

Around 439 complaints received through One Window facilitation Desks at International Airports of Pakistan related to Custom, NADRA, Civil Aviation Authority and Immigration have also been resolved.
