Flour prices increased upto Rs10 in Karachi in 1 week

KARACHI: The price of flour has registered an increase of upto Rs10 per kilogram during the last one week in Karachi.

Sources said that the shortage of wheat has led to hike of upto Rs10 per kilogram in the prices of flour in one week in the city.

After the increase, now the flour is being sold at Rs71 per kilogram in the port city.

A local flour retailer has told the media that daily a new rate for the wheat powder is issued by the mill owners. He added that the price of a flour bag has increased upto Rs500 in a week.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan today announced to implement the anti-inflation policy from Monday to bring the prices of edible items down in the country.

In a message posted on his Twitter account on Saturday, the premier had said that the government would use all the resources at the disposal of the state to bring down food prices from the coming Monday
