Alarms have been raised for flood like situation in various areas of Gadap Town in Karachi following cracks occurred in Loyaj Dam that caused leakage of water.
Cracks in Loyaj Dam situated in Gadap Town areas increased dangers of flood-like situation once again in Safora Goth, Saadi Town, Amroha Society and various neighbouring areas.
It should be mentioned that all the areas had submerged due to cracks in the same dam two years ago due to heavy monsoon rainfalls in Karachi.
However, no security arrangements and maintenance work commenced by the local administration, Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) and concerned officials to void the disasters.
