Flight operations to resume partially at some Pakistani airports

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) announced that flight operations at Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta airports will resume at 6pm on Friday after a temporary suspension amid escalating military tensions with neighbouring India.

According to a CAA spokesperson, flights to and from Islamabad, Quetta, Peshawar and Karachi will resume under restricted airspace.

The spokesperson further said, domestic and international flights will resume in a limited capacity and on certain routes.

However, a decision regarding the resumption of flight operations at Lahore, Sialkot, Faisalabad and Multan airports will be taken at a later time, the spokesperson said

Flight operations will remain suspended at Lahore, Sialkot, Faisalabad and Multan airports till 1pm March 4, he added.
