NANKANA SAHIB: At least five terrorists were killed in an armed encounter with security forces personnel on Saturday at Nankana Sahib.
According to Counter Terrorism Department, the personnel of the CTD and intelligence agencies jointly conducted a raid in Nankana Sahib on a tip-off regarding the presence of terrorists.
Terrorists launched the attack on the security personnel as they entered the area for raid.
Five terrorists were killed during fire exchange while three others managed to flee the scene.
According to reports, the terrorists belonged to the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
A huge stash of weapons was also recovered from possession of the terrorists
