QUETTA: Five terrorists were killed in a Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) operation in Mastung.
According to CTD sources, the action was taken on a tip-off about the presence of terrorists in the Splingi area of Mastung. The terrorists of the banned organization were hiding in a house. During the operation, two terrorists managed to escape.
Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the terrorists’ hideout.
On Sunday, armed criminals on motorcycles opened fire on policemen in the federal capital Islamabad, killing one officer and injuring two others.
The gunmen opened fire on police in Sector G-13 of Islamabad.
