Five houses damaged, colleges closed as India continues unprovoked firing across LoC

MUZAFFARABAD: At least five houses were damaged in Indian firing and shelling across the Line of Control (LoC) on Monday morning.

According to reports, Indian forces targeted civilian settlements in Tarkandi, Dator, Lanjot, Dabsi Mohra, Nargal, Sakakas and Pilani areas of Nakyal sector at around 8:00am.

Reportedly, five houses were damaged by Indian shelling in Dabsi Mohra.

The authorities also closed girls and boys degree colleges and declared emergency at the Tehsil Headquarter Hospital. Additional ambulances have also been deployed in the areas close to the LoC.
