Karachi: Five children, including two brothers, died after drowning in a water-filled pit in Surjani Town neighbourhood here on Sunday.
Police said that the children aged between nine and 14 years had gone to take bath in a water-filled pit formed in an empty plot in the area in the morning where they all drowned.
The pond was four to five feet deep, the police said, adding that all the bodies were fished out.
Those died have been identified as Zubair, Maqsood, Arman, Aseed and Abdullah.
