Kane Williamson’s ton and his overall 189-run partnership with Martin Guptill in first inning of the Test match against England entered into its Day 3 being played at Lord’s Cricket Stadium, London.

Two solid partnerships including openers Martin Guptill with Tom Latham and later Kane Williamson with Ross Taylor boosted Kiwis’ batting line-up to stand stronger at Day 3 of the first inning.

Guptill and Latham built 148-run partnership while Williamson’s and Taylor added 189 runs in the total score reached to 474 so far leading 85 runs after collapse of Taylor 62, skipper McCullum 42, Anderson and Craig at duck.

England had scored 389 runs as lost all wickets after playing 100.5 overs with average run rate of 3.85 per over.
