Panic and stampede in Waqarun Nisa Girls College after car robbers opened firing outside the college building in Rawalpindi on Wednesday.
Heavy contingents of security forces arrived in an outside the college and started the search operation in the college and in its surroundings.
The initial reports suggest, the car thieves opened fire on the arrival of the police.
RPO Rawalpindi Fakhar Sultan said there is no terror attack at the college but it was an exchange of fire between the dacoits and the Police.
