MUZAFFARGARH: Six people, including five children and a woman, were killed and three others recieved burn injuries after the fire erupted due to a short circuit at Sanawan, Kotaddu, on Friday.
Four siblings, including two brothers and two sisters, while a child and his mother from another family were among the dead.
According to Rescue 1122, the fire erupted due to a short circuit which spread to other homes too. Rescue 1122 said the fire affected six homes which was extinguished by fire fighters.
Those died included Hamid,8, Arsalan,4, Naureen, 14, and Hania, 2, sons and daughters of Imran. The other two killed included Tahir Abbas, 2, s/o Allah Wasaya and his mother Amna wife of Allah Wasaya. The three injured were shifted to a burn unit of the Nishtar Hospital Multan.
