DAMASCUS: Fire at a clinic in Northeast Syria engulfed 27 lives on Sunday. Syrian official media has said that most of the deceased were children and 30 others were injured in the incident.
Police said that dry wood branches had caught fire and the blaze spread to a fuel tank which exploded and intensified the fire.
State television said that the fire erupted at the Maysalun clinic in the city of Qamishli.
