ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the government respected the Lahore High Court verdict on removing the name of ex-PM Nawaz Sharif from ECL.

She stated this while speaking to a local TV here on Saturday.

Earlier in the day, the Lahore High Court ordered to remove unconditionally the name of Ex-PM Nawaz Sharif from the no-fly list.

The court, in its order, observed that the permission for treatment abroad is for four weeks. However, the further extension in the permission is linked with the opinion of the doctors.
