ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar received on Tuesday the budget documents signed by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, a statement from the PM House said.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who chaired a meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC) and the Federal Cabinet on Monday through a video link, between the Pakistan High Commission building at London and the Prime Minister Office in Islamabad.
The meeting chaired by the Prime Minister gave approval of the National Development Outlay of Rs 1675 bln for the year 2016-17.
The federal cabinet also approved the total budget outlay of Rs 4.8 trillion.
The budget would be presented to the National Assembly on June, 3. Prime Minister is in London for his cardiac treatment.
