Final talks with IMF today to release next tranche of loan

ISLAMABAD: After Dubai, Pakistan and International Monetary Fund (IMF) will hold final round of talks on 7th review under Extended Funds Facility Programme in Islamabad on Monday (today).

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will head the Pakistani side while IMF team will be led by Harald Finger.

it is pertinent to mention here that the duo have already held week long policy level deliberations on the subject at Dubai.

The successful conclusion of 7th review will enable IMF to release next tranche of five hundred and fifty million dollars after approval of its executive board by late June or early July this year.
