THE HAGUE: The final investigation report of crashed Malaysian flight MH17 will be presented on October 13.

The flight was shot down en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur on July 17, 2014, the Dutch Safety Board told Xinhua on Thursday.

The board refused to comment on CNN reports, saying that the investigations pinned the downing of plane on ‘pro-Russian rebels’.

It is pertinent to mention here that, 298 people including 196 Dutch were dead in the horrific crash in the Donetsk area of east Ukraine.

A preliminary report published last September said the plane “broke up in the air probably as the result of structural damage caused by a large number of high-energy objects that penetrated the aircraft from outside”.
