ISLAMABAD: Final list of the candidates taking part in local bodies elections of federal capital Islamabad has been prepared.
According to the Election Commission of Pakistan authorities, ECP would release the list of candidates today, while printing of ballot papers would be done in the evening under the supervision of army. Over 4.2 million ballot papers would be published for elections.
Green ballot papers would be printed for chairman and vice chairman. White ballot papers would be printed for general members of union council, while brown ballot papers would be printed for the seat of labourer and farmer. So, light grey ballot papers would be printed for youth seat, pink for women and yellow for non-muslims.
This should be noted that the number of voters in Islamabad are 688000.
