ISLAMABAD : Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Wednesday decided to arrest Dr Saveeta Deputy Programme Manager (EPI) in the vaccine scandal case of National Institute of Health (NIH).
She is wife of Pakistan Muslim League -Nawaz (PML-N) MNA Ramesh Kumar .
The FIA has taken decision as Dr Saveeta, Deputy Programme Manager of Expanded Programme on Immunisation (EPI) remained continuously absent during the inquiry.
According to sources, the FIA has collected the record of vaccines wasted during one year. The vaccines worth Rs640 million were wasted due to negligence of top officials.
