Karachi: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has also launched an investigation into corruption at the National Institute of Cardiovasculor Diseases (NICVD).
On the other hand, the management of the NICVD has approached the Sindh High Court against the investigation.
The NICVD management, in the petition, said that the hospital was a property of a province. The FIA inquiry against the hospital is illegal and should be halted, it added.
The SHC has issued notices to the Advocate General of Sindh and the Attorney General of Pakistan.
