ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Thursday arrested an Afghan in-service army officer at Chaman check post.
FIA said the Afghan army officer was arrested when he was attempting to cross the Pak-Afghan border to go back Afghanistan. The officer was handed over to intelligence agencies for further interrogation. Sources said the officer had been dwelling in Chaman illegally.
Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan lauded the FIA’s in-time move.
