ISLAMABAD: Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief Sheikh Rashid said Monday that the corrupt elements should be punished otherwise there would be bloody civil war in the country.

Talking to media outside the Supreme Court, he said that Nawaz Sharif has served three times as prime minister and six times minister, adding that he has made a lot of money during this tenure. He said: “I have faith in Allah almighty that justice will be delivered.”

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Jahangir Tareen said that it isn’t their duty to provide evidence, adding that they are a political party not National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

He said that the success of the Bahawalpur rally proved that the people wanted accountability of the corrupt rulers.

On the other hand, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Daniyal Aziz has said that Imran Khan is indulging in blame game against his party leaders.

He said that Imran Khan uses abusive language against the PML-N, adding that the PTI lawyer Naeem Bukhari has no evidence in Panama Leaks case.

On the occasion, Minister for Capital Administration and Development Division Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that the PTI is making media trial instead of focusing on hearing in the court.
