ORAKZAI AGENCY: Frontier Corps (FC) conducted an operation in Karaiz area of Orakzai Agency on Friday night and recovered a large quantity of arms.
The ammunition was hidden in the coal mine. The FC officials have arrested the coal mine owner and shifted him to some undisclosed location for further investigation.
The ammunition recovered from the mine included machine guns, RPG rocket guns, mortar guns and hundreds of bullets.
Sources said that the militants were planning to use these arms to carry out terror attacks in the country. The law enforcement agencies have launched a search operation in the area and further arrests are expected.
