QUETTA: Security forces conducted raids in Panjgur district and Dalbandin city of Balochistan province where they arrested three included extremists and also recovered explosive and 20,000 bullets from their possession.
Frontier Corps (FC) and sensitive institutions raided different spots in Panjgur district and Dalbandin city of Balochistan here on Tuesday.
Three persons included two extremists belonging to an outlawed outfit were arrested during the raids. The outlawed members were arrested in Shapatan area of Panjgur, FC spokesperson said.
In second raid, a weapon smuggler was arrested which led two more raids in two houses after being spotted by the criminal. Security officials recovered six grenades, two local-made bombs, 100 detonators and 20,000 bullets during the raid.
The arrested persons were shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
