LAHORE: Pakistan star all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez is some sort of trouble as Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) froze bank accounts of the cricketer over non-payment of taxes.
According to FBR, Muhammad Hafeez is a defaulter of Rs4.2 million in the form of income tax.
“We have written to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Sui Northern regarding Muhammad Hafeez,” it said.
Earlier, it was reported said that FBR also confiscated Misbah ul Haq’s SUV, but he rejected the reports as baseless.
