ISLAMABAD: Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Monday conditionally agreed on the Fata’s merger with the Khyber Pakhtukhwa.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi visited the JUI-F chief’s residence to convince him with regard to Fata-KP merger.
The prime minister’s meeting with the JUI-F chief lasted over one hour. Both the leaders agreed to continue talks over Fata Reforms Bill.
Maulana Attaur Rehman and Akram Khan Durrani also attended the meeting.
